Part 25 Paul’s POV:

“Fu-fuck, what is happening,” Paul mumbles, resisting the urge to turn his head around.

His mum is still in front of him, but not as -- as clearly as she was before. Frozen in time, except for her eyes.

The eyes are burning their way into him with want and need.

They ask him to let go.

To let go of whatever -- whoever -- is stroking his skin. They try to convince him that what he can feel is not real.

That SHE is real. And Paul wants to believe it at first. There is a part of him that wants to let go.

It wants him to forget about this world and take her hand and let her lead him into a place where everything he ever wished for himself and his family has become true and everything he ever dreamt of is reality.

…And then there is a part of him that can feel his legs spread out to each side, as the part of the mattress where his legs are tied up divides into two sections, now being pushed apart. He senses this surprisingly accurately, yet not panicking until he feels a hand touch the skin of his lower back.

And continues lower - still meeting naked, burning skin.

The light stroke on his right buttock jolts right through him.

He shudders at the partial realization.

How-- W-why is there no fabric back there, when he can feel that he is wearing trousers? Has someone made a cut an--
